Parting at King's Place
On the 16th of March, we were finally able to present our project that we've been working so long and hard on. The multi talented Litha and Effy Efthymiou created a brilliant pieace of contemporary, experimental theatre in their artistic show Parting, that deals in an unusal way with the topic of mental illness. My contribution was one of the peices within this performace - a multidisciplinary piece that fuses film, dance and live music written by Effy and Litha Efthymiou, which I co-created with the girls, and our dancer/choreographer the wonderful Sophie Lowen, and shot, edited and directed the films involved in the performance. The result was fantastic. Hopefully this was just the first of the many performances of the brilliant Parting.
